The new charges come from a carjacking in the Market Mall parking lot Friday night where a woman was forced from her 2003 Chevrolet Venture van at gunpoint.
The man fled the scene in the van with the woman's purse and ID.
A stolen red Ford Taurus car believed to be part of the carjacking followed the van.
On Friday police charged the 36-year-old with robbery, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, and carrying a concealed weapon.
That's in addition to possession of stolen property, possession of drugs, theft, assault with intent to resist arrest, and others charges laid Thursday.
