Bison have been at the centre of Adrian Stimson's art practice for decades. The creature informs his paintings, photography, sculptures, installations and even his performative alter-ego, Buffalo Boy.

The Blackfoot artist joined Tom Power to reflect on how his ancestors' deep connection to bison fuels his art, and how he manages to tackle heavy subjects like colonialism with humour and levity.
