March on CBC Gem: Essex County, Macy Murdoch, The Junos and more!
And you can stream them all for free!
Every month, CBC Gem adds new programming to a growing library of titles you can stream for free on the platform.
This March CBC will debut Essex County, a five-part limited series based on the brilliant graphic novel by Jeff Lemire as well as the CBC Gem original Macy Murdoch, a tween spinoff of hit drama Murdoch Mysteries featuring Detective Murdoch's great-great-great-granddaughter.
CBC Gem is also adding comedies such as You're My Hero, about a 20-something with cerebral palsy as he tries to find love and purpose in a world not designed for wheels; Season 3 of The New Wave of Standup, featuring 14 all-new breakout Canadian comedians and Internet cringe comedy Content Farm.
In addition, this month, CBC presents The 2023 JUNO Awards — the 52nd annual celebration of Canadian music, hosted live from Edmonton by Simu Liu on March 13.
