The Olympics are off to a great start
By Aaron Stern, CBC Sports
Last night's Rio 2016 opening ceremony was deemed a success and provided plenty of exciting moments. After all the talk surrounding the conditions in Rio leading up to the Games, things actually got started and the athletes' entrance seemed to bring some positive vibes.
If you missed out on any of the action or just want to relive some of the action, here are the top three moments that created the most buzz on social media.
Historic moment
For the first time ever a Refugee Olympic team will be included in the Games. It was a historic and emotional moment as the team received quite the ovation during their entrance.

Slick Olympian
Tonga's flag bearer Pita Nikolas Taufatofua took an interesting approach as he entered the stadium with possibly the most oil a human could put on their skin.
What do you think of <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TGA?src=hash">#TGA</a> flag bearer Pita Nikolas Aufatofua? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/DoubleGlazed?src=hash">#DoubleGlazed</a> 😍 <a href="https://t.co/JAoL0ve2RK">https://t.co/JAoL0ve2RK</a> <a href="https://t.co/aMTtysU7l4">https://t.co/aMTtysU7l4</a>

He definitely got the people talking.
Who wore it better: Tonga's flag-bearer or this sour cream glazed donut? <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/OpeningCeremony?src=hash">#OpeningCeremony</a> <a href="https://t.co/4QSUXhpf4V">pic.twitter.com/4QSUXhpf4V</a>

D.I.Y. opening ceremony
If you didn't love Canada's soccer team already, the athletes thought of a creative way to feel apart of the opening ceremony without actually being there. The team had a ceremony of their own as they were in Sao Paulo rather than Rio at the time of the official opening ceremony.
Opening Ceremony outfit on point! Proud to represent <a href="https://twitter.com/TeamCanada">@TeamCanada</a> 🇨🇦🔥💃🏻🖖🏽 <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/OpeningCeremony?src=hash">#OpeningCeremony</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/canwnt?src=hash">#canwnt</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/rio2016?src=hash">#rio2016</a> <a href="https://t.co/BT0IRSyKR8">pic.twitter.com/BT0IRSyKR8</a>
