The final spots on Canada's Olympic diving team will be determined this weekend at the national team trials in Toronto.

Six Canadians, including the Fab Four, have confirmed their spots in Rio. There are still women's alternate positions available at the trials.

According to Diving Plongeon Canada, Jennifer Abel, Pamela Ware, Meaghan Benfeito, and Roseline Filion  have all pre-qualified for their respective individual and synchro events. Abel and Ware will compete in the 3-metre springboard events while Benfeito and Filion will dive in the 10m platform.

The quartet – having already qualified – will not be competing at the trials. However, they will be in Toronto to train and do a demonstration on Saturday.

Vincent Riendeau has also pre-qualified for Rio along with Philippe Gagné. Riendeau will compete in the men's 10-metre platform with Gagné taking the 3m springboard spot.

One diver who will not be participating this weekend is François Imbeau-Dulac. Imbeau-Dulac withdrew from the Olympic trials citing a "little accident in the pool about two weeks ago" according to Diving Plongeon Canada.

However, Imbeau-Dulac could still qualify for Rio if Canada is able so secure another quota spot according to Diving Plongeon Canada. Once all of the countries confirm their final entries with FINA, Canada could be eligible for a second berth in the men's 3m.
