Champion Cavaliers' mannequin challenge is a mic drop

Remember planking, the running man challenge and the Harlem shake? These days the internet has a new obsession called the mannequin challenge and the sports world is taking it on.

The latest craze has gone viral in locker rooms across the continent

Remember planking, the running man challenge and the Harlem shake? These days the internet has a new obsession and it's called the mannequin challenge. 

The mannequin challenge simply requires one to freeze in an awkward position imitating, well, a mannequin. If you're doing it correctly, the music behind the scenes will be Rae Sremmurd's Black Beatles featuring Gucci Mane. 

Why? Because the internet said so.

How does a video go viral? It helps when your favourite teams participate in the challenge.

And the First Lady participating doesn't hurt either.

Here are few mannequin challenges worth watching:

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers released their version of the mannequin challenge on November 10 — from inside the White House.

With Michelle Obama.

Mic drop. (Even if the music is more suited to the Oval Office.)

Denver Broncos

Welcome to the the Denver Broncos locker room. The team made it look as though someone just hit the "pause" button in the middle of their post-game wrap up.
