Why the Philosopher Kings have returned to rule

The Philosopher Kings are back. After a 10-year hiatus and a sustained period of success in Canada with a number of hits the group have released a new single entitled "Still the One" with a new album 

However, despite the fact the Philosopher Kings have been away for a while you've been hearing their impact on music for many years now outside of the group. Lead singer Gerald Eaton aka Jarvis Church is not only is known as a solo artist, but he forged a career behind the scenes producing for K'naan and helping to discover Nelly Furtado as part of the production team Track and Field with bandmate Brian West.

Meanwhile James Bryan was one half of the animated pop music duo Prozzak with former Philosopher Kings member Jay Levine. 

Eaton and Bryan  talk to q about their return to the scene, what to expect from their new album and perform songs both new and old in studio q.
