If you were a TV fan in the '90s, there's a solid chance you were glued to some pretty popular true crime offerings on TV — shows like America's Most Wanted or Forensic Files that featured gritty reenactments of gruesome moments, cold cases and calls for tips. New Eden is a new show that's just like that, but hilarious. It follows a fictional all-woman cult in British Columbia, and features grainy footage as well as interviews with journalists, investigators, former members of the cult and the cult leaders themselves. Comedians Evany Rosen and Kayla Lorette created and star in New Eden, and in a q interview, they talk about why they created the show — and about the darkly humourous corners where they take it.
