Mark Frost knows how to write a great mystery. After all, he is one of the creators of the cult favourite TV show, Twin Peaks.

So, with the return of Twin Peaks next year and a new book out by Frost called The Secret History of Twin Peaks, q asked Frost for some tips on how to write a compelling mystery.

"At the heart of life lies a mystery that everybody has to wrestle with," Frost says. "What the heck are we doing here? How does this world work and how do I fit?"
