Why divorced comic Jen Kirkman isn't afraid of dying alone
Stand-up comedian Jen Kirkman shares what motivated her new comedy album about child-free, post-divorce single life.

When it comes to poking at societal expectations, Jen Kirkman doesn't flinch. The stand-up comedian and writer has followed up her much-discussed book about living happily child-free with a taboo-tackling comedy special, I'm Going to Die Alone, and I Feel Fine!
Kirkman explores stereotypes about single women, doing "normal stuff" just to feel normal, and what life post-divorce really looks like. She also points out that everyone, single or married, might die alone.
