Jay Baron knew he wanted to start a YouTube channel but he didn't know what he'd make videos of. So, he stared into his closet and there it was: a mini cast iron stove.

The stove was an old gag gift from his grandfather and it sparked something in Baron's mind. That idea was to make miniature plates of food, using miniature utensils and equipment, in a two-by-two box of a set Baron built himself.

Over 13 million views later and Baron is known as the "Mini Food Guy," possibly his most successful art piece yet.

"I try to look at it as a piece of art work," Baron clarifies. "It's not extremely symbolic or in depth, it doesn't need to be overly complicated — I'm just trying to make other people happy with these videos."
