Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss is back to defend Jessica Jones

Marvel's Jessica Jones crash landed on Netflix this November, and immediately attracted droves of binge-watching fans.  

Among the cast, a familiar glare. Vancouver's own Carrie-Anne Moss — best known for her role as Trinity in The Matrix — plays Jessica's no nonsense lawyer, Jeri Hogarth,

Today, Moss joins guest host Piya Chattopadhyay to discuss the groundbreaking aspects of the new series, what it means to play a gender-swapped lesbian character, and how her real world identity contrasts with her on-screen persona. 

"I'm the mom who didn't let anyone play with pretend guns," she laughs, adding that she only recently let her eldest son watch The Matrix. 

"So far, so good. No flak yet."
