Piya Chattopadhyay guest hosts. All schedules are subject to last minute changes, so please check back for updates. Here's what we have on tap today:

  • FRIDAY LIVE: Montreal's Stars return to Studio Q to perform from their upcoming record No One Is Lost. It's an album that sees the band explore their 80s new-wave impulses, resulting in their most danceable work yet.

  • After success on stage, big screen and small, William H Macy takes on yet another new role. The actor makes his directorial debit with Rudderless, a feature film starring Billy Crudup, Laurence Fishburne, Felicity Huffman and Selena Gomez.

  • We talk to This American Life producers Sarah Koening and Julie Synder about the show's first spinoff, Serial, and the popularity today of serial (verses episodic) storytelling. Serial is a podcast on the true story of a murder in Baltimore in 1999 that's told over the course of a whole season.

  • Elvira Kurt's Cultural Hall of Shame
