Thomas Vinterberg, a Danish filmmaker who has inspired contemporaries with his bare essentials approach, has earned Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for his latest film, The Hunt. 

It's a portrait of how one lie can tear a man's life apart -- alienating him from his family, his friends and his community. Jian spoke to Vinterberg when the film was on the festival circuit last year. From the Best of Q, here's their conversation.
