Cheech Marin's secret past as a potter in Alberta

While fans may know that Cheech Marin met his comedy partner, Tommy Chong, in Canada, his latest book reveals some more surprising Canadian connections. For example, did you know that Marin was once an apprentice to a famous potter in Alberta?

"In my last semester in school, I took a pottery class that totally changed my life," Marin explains. "My recessive Mexican handcrafted genes came jumping out at that point! So, I eventually ended up living in this part of Alberta, to be a potter."
