More money, more problems: Behind Kevin Kwan's Crazy Rich series

Author Kevin Kwan is back with Rich People Problems, the third book in his Crazy Rich series set in modern day Singapore, Kwan's home country.  

Kevin Kwan talks to Tom Power about stereotypes, ethnic diversity and his trilogy of novels and how it brings to life a section of upper-class Asian society that's rarely portrayed in Western media. 

He also delves into historical events that are motivations behind the actions of characters in his books, as well as the ongoing process and challenges of turning Crazy Rich Asians, the first book in the series, into a film.
