A Toronto dad built this $30,000 skyscraper treehouse
This week a Toronto dad is making waves with his $30,000 treehouse boat. John Alpeza built it in his backyard so his kids would put down their iPads and play outside.
The treehouse features amenities rarely seen in most Canadian homes, such as a hammock and a library.
Torontonians are divided as to whether this exceptional boat in the sky should be allowed to stay, despite neighbourhood complaints and the fact that it was constructed without a permit.
Because News host Gavin Crawford asked this week's quiz contestants if the kids should be able to keep the treehouse, and more importantly, should girls be allowed?

MacKay, who left political office last year and is now practicing law in downtown Toronto, quipped that if the dad is looking for a lawyer, he knows who to call.
