Conservative Senator Linda Frum is a strong supporter of the Fair Elections Act. She says the provision to end vouching is just common sense. And she says Elections Canada and Chief Electoral Officer Marc Mayrand need to be reigned in. She calls their work bolstering voter turnout "dangerous."




Senator Frum argues not only have federal bureaucrats proven they are incapable of motivating people to vote. They shouldn't be the ones to do so. 

During Senate hearings into the bill she accused the Chief Electoral Officer of being in a conflict of interest.
