Director of DRC's Virunga National Park shot in ambush

Emmanuel De Merode and his staff have saved the lives of countless mountain gorillas while protecting their beloved Virunga National Park. But yesterday when the director of the park in the Democratic Republic of Congo was ambushed and shot on the road to Goma, there was no one there to save him. Joanna Natasagera is the communications director for the park and she told Carol she believes Mr. De Merode was targeted. Listen to find out why.
