Rain-free weddings guaranteed, for a fee

A UK company is offering couples a rain-free wedding guarantee. Natasja Rasmussen, the head of Customer Experience at Oliver's Travels, says that for £100,000 the company's team of cloud bursting experts will undertake a "three week operation which will guarantee perfect weather."

"We specialize in sending couples over to France for their dream destination weddings," says Rasmussen. 

Now for customers who don't want the weather threatening their big day, Olivers has partnered with a cloud seeding team from the U-S. They will travel to France in advance to assess the prevailing conditions. Then, if clouds threaten the ceremony, the team will fly up and disperse the clouds using a silver iodine spray. 

As for cost, Rasmussen says, "it's a very premium service, of course." So far no one has purchased the guarantee, but Rasmussen says Olivers has had a lot of inquiries and "we're open to anyone who can afford the price tag."
