Health Canada expanding affordable dental care accessibility for millions of Canadians
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) has been expanded to include millions of eligible Canadians between the ages of 18 and 64, federal Health Minister Kamal Khera announced on Saturday. Applicants will be eligible if they have no access to dental insurance, have filed their 2024 tax return and have a family net income below $90,000. They’ll be able to apply for the CDCP in May and could receive coverage as early as June 1. CORRECTION: In this video, the federal dental care program is referred to as being free.
