The two-month GST holiday is wrapping up on Saturday. Dan Kelly, president of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, says the tax break was not worthwhile, and largely did not increase sales for businesses. Kelly adds that the government needs to provide a permanent solution to help businesses mitigate potential U.S. tariffs.
