'I felt so close to him,' says teen who saved man from tent fire at Hamilton encampment
A Hamilton man says he’d be dead if it weren't for the teen who rescued him from a burning tent. Shawn Goodwin had been living at a park encampment when a fire broke out earlier this month. Zeke Fox, 17, happened to be driving by, saw the smoke and rushed over to help. Both continue to recover from the traumatic night but are doing so together. The pair say they’ve formed a close bond and unlikely friendship. CBC’s Samantha Beattie has more.
