The man at the centre of all the hockey-related chatter, longtime executive Glenn Stanford, is breaking his silence and acknowledging that he's working tirelessly to bring a new team to St. John’s. Which league? He won’t say. But the province has quietly made a change to labour standards legislation and major junior hockey was referenced in the Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette — a government publication containing public notices and changes to regulations.
