Representatives of two big industries in Windsor-Essex — tool and mouldmakers and the produce industry — say a free trade deal between Canada and Mexico must be maintained. It comes after questions about the fate of the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement, which is up for renegotiation in 2026, over concerns that China is using Mexico as a back door for its goods.
