Boko Haram's campaign of destruction spreads beyond Nigeria

Nigeria's Boko Haram, a militant Islamist group said to be responsible for kidnapping nearly 300 schoolgirls last year, have stepped up cross-border attacks in recent weeks in their campaign to carve out an Islamist emirate around the Lake Chad area bordering Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger.
