Businesswoman Carly Fiorina announced the suspension of her bid for the Republican presidential nomination on Facebook Wednesday, a day after collecting only four per cent of the vote in the New Hampshire primary.

Businesswoman Carly Fiorina announced the suspension of her bid for the Republican presidential nomination on Facebook Wednesday, a day after collecting only four per cent of the vote in the New Hampshire primary.
In the post, Fiorina said while she is suspending her campaign, she will "continue to travel this country and fight for those Americans who refuse to settle for the way things are and a status quo that no longer works for them."
Fiorina became the first female executive of AT&T in 1980, and has also served as the CEO of Hewlett-Packard.
