Eloquent final paragraph of Anthony Kennedy's gay marriage opinion goes viral
There were many attempts at eloquence Friday in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling legalizing same-sex marriage across America.
U.S. President Barack Obama said the decision "affirms what millions of Americans believe in their hearts: When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free."
But it is a single paragraph of the decision itself which is triggering some of the most emotional reactions online. Justice Anthony Kennedy, who wrote the ruling, closed his opinion with words that are racking up shares on social networks across the world.
