Taylor Swift loves the ugly sweater her fan made her
Dedicated fan spends eight months knitting the sweater
Proving once again that the best gifts are made by hand, a painstakingly-knitted sweater bearing Taylor Swift's likeness has stolen the pop singer's heart.
It's ugly, in a "straight from the church craft sale" kind of way — a Miami Vice peach pastel pullover with a rendering of one of Taylor Swift's album Polaroids on it — but it was obviously a labour of love, and Swift seems to get that.
Behold...
Someone knitted this sweater of a Polaroid of me and gave it to my mom at the show. Thank you, mysterious knitter. pic.twitter.com/firiax6SzS

The "mysterious knitter" behind the sweater is 27-year-old Jadda, a college student from Colorado, according to the New York Post.
On her Tumblr blog, Jadda refers to herself as a "Taylor Swift enthusiast first and foremost," and details the eight months she spent knitting the sweater — a process that was both "difficult af," and "so much fun."
In the end, she actually hand-delivered the sweater to Swift's mother, who she spotted at a show in Denver, and shared the ensuing joy on Tumblr.
"Omg my hands are all clamy [sic]. What is this. I dont even know. I cant believe it either. Like I debated if I would give her the sweater and tonight it just felt right. So happy Taylor loves it!! Ahhh."
Swift eventually tracked down Jadda as well, sending her a personal Tumblr shout-out for a job well done.
"Jadda I absolutely love it and it's so comfortable. I can definitely tell it was made with love," said Swift. "Thank you so so so much."
