Confused Beyoncé fans think Jay Z had an affair with TV chef Rachael Ray
Beyoncé fans confuse Rachael Roy with Rachel Ray
If the rumours are true, celebrity chef and squeaky-clean (relatively speaking) Food Network host Rachael Ray has been hooking up with Beyoncé's husband behind her back.
Her fierce, flawless, irreplaceable back.
RING THE ALARM! The proverbial Bey-hive has been kicked – and Beyoncé fans are on an emoji spamming rampage right now in defence of their queen.
Unfortunately for Ray, who's best-known for her clever kitchen tips and saying things like "Yum-O!", a good chunk of those fans have digitally swarmed the wrong woman after hearing of Jay-Z's alleged affair with fashion designer Rachel Roy.
lmfaooooo people are getting Rachael Ray and Rachel Roy confused noo 😂 pic.twitter.com/7cIl0alXVn

The confusion started bubbling up on Saturday night after Beyoncé dropped her new album, Lemonade, via her rap mogul husband's streaming service Tidal.
Released alongside a one-hour HBO special featuring music videos from the album, fans dove straight into Queen Bey's sixth LP, eager to decipher the artist's sometimes cryptic prose.
It didn't take a fine-toothed comb to find something worthy of Tweeting about right away for the Beygency.
Amid the multitude of heavy personal and political statements to be found on Lemonade, one line from the track Sorry, about infidelity — a topic Beyoncé has been known to explore in her work — stood out:
"He only want me when I'm not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair."
"He better call Becky with the good hair." What did Jay-Z do?!? 😩 #LEMONADE

Speculation that Becky — a name described in the Genius notes for Beyoncé's song as "a stereotypical archetype in the black community that refers to the average white woman" — was Rachel Roy began almost immediately.
"Roy had previously been connected to rumoured Beyoncé–Jay Z marital strife back in 2014," wrote Vanity Fair of the lyric. "At the time, tabloids cited Jay Z's close friendship with the designer as the reason Solange Knowles attacked him in the elevator of Manhattan's Standard Hotel after that year's Met Gala."
Whether this is true or not, Roy appeared to be playing the nod up on Saturday night after Lemonade premiered by posting a photo to Instagram with the caption "Good hair don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies. or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens."
That post has since been deleted from the American fashion designer's Instagram account.
Beyoncé's incredibly zealous fans have been harassing Roy en masse since Lemonade dropped, filling her social media feeds with lemon emojis, nasty comments and their trademark bees.
The designer's Wikipedia page was reportedly edited 182 times in just over an hour on Saturday night before it was locked down, once to make her name read "Rachel Roach" and then to make it "Dusty Side Hoe that died under a lemonade stand."
Roy addressed the dragging on Twitter Sunday afternoon, writing "I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind."

The Bey-hive doesn't care. In fact, many are now calling out Roy even harder for trying to backtrack out of her Instagram comments.
By Monday, the fight had become so messy that it was observed spilling over onto the similarly named host of 30 Minute Meals.
Ray, who has not been romantically linked to Jay, is for the first time ever more synonymous online right now with the words "side chick" than "side dish" — and it's really confusing to some people.
@rachaelray how the hell could you let jay-z cheat on Beyoncé you ghoul

I can't believe @rachelray helped Jay-Z do that to the Queen. Never makin' those 30 minute meals again

The TV personality has yet to respond to any of the nasty "homewrecker" comments she's received on Instagram photos of her 11-year-old rescue dog and lovely artichoke burgers with tarragon special sauce.
Perhaps she's taking the high road — or maybe she's just too busy running multiple businesses, hanging out with her husband and making awesome food to care about the bee emoji people.
Likewise for Beyoncé.

Jay Z has also refrained from publicly addressing these rumours — although, interestingly enough, he hasn't been receiving nearly as much criticism as any of the women involved.
