Concerns about measles and vaccinations? The National's health panel takes your questions
The National's health panel answered your questions about vaccines, why they’re being questioned by some people and what you can do to keep your family healthy and safe.
With March Break just ahead, Canadian public health officials are warning travellers to make sure their measles vaccines are up to date. The concern comes from a global outbreak of cases this winter — many the result of what's being called "vaccine hesitancy."
The National's health panel took your questions about measles outbreaks and debate around vaccinations on CBCNews.ca, Facebook, Periscope and YouTube.
The panel was moderated by The National co-host Andrew Chang and feature panelists Dr. Danielle Martin of Women's College Hospital; Dr. Samir Sinha of the Sinai Health System and University Health Network; and Dr. Lennox Huang of the Hospital for Sick Children.
