Mercury rising

NASA’s Mercury Surface, Space Environment, Geochimistry and Ranging (MESSENGER) orbiter is the first to orbit the planet. MESSENGER is the first new spacecraft to return to Mercury since the Mariner 10 mission over 30 years ago.
