Wednesdays with @Kady replay: The Senate expense audit pile-on

How many investigations and audits will it take to get to the bottom of the Senate expenses controversy? Many, apparently.

Fortunately blogger Kady O'Malley is around to help us keep them all straight: the ones that have started, the ones that are on hold and the ones that could also spread to the House of Commons. Which have sharp teeth? Which are convenient symbolism? We'll try to tease everything out, with an eye to explaining how much can realistically unfold before everything pauses for the summer recess. Elections Canada has snagged two more MPs in a election expense dispute: Manitoba Tories Shelley Glover and James Bezan.  Both are challenging the agency's interpretation of the rules, but if authorities don't come to see things their way they could be suspended from the House of Commons until they comply.
