All ridings now called in 2021 Federal Election
Voter turnout at just over 60 per cent, according to Elections Canada
With the final count completed in the British Columbia riding of Nanaimo–Ladysmith, all ridings have now been called for the 2021 Federal Election.
The NDP's Lisa Marie Barron won the riding narrowly over the Conservatives' Tamara Kronis.
As of right now, Elections Canada has voter turnout at just over 62 per cent. That number does not include voters who registered on election day.
A spokesperson for Elections Canada told CBC News in an email that they have not received any recount requests at this time.
Earlier Friday, Elections Canada finished counting votes in the New Brunswick riding of Fredericton. Jenica Atwin, who won in that riding as a Green in 2019 before crossing the floor to the Liberals, defeated Conservative candidate Andrea Johnson with 16,316 votes.
