Supreme Court Justice Clément Gascon has been safely found, police say
Ottawa Police Service had earlier issued a notice asking for the public's help in locating the 59-year-old
Ottawa police say that Supreme Court Justice Clément Gascon has been safely found.
"Missing person, Clement Gascon, 59, has been located safe and sound. Thank you for your assistance," the Ottawa Police Service said on Twitter.
Earlier Wednesday evening, Ottawa police had issued a notice, asking for the public's help in locating Gascon, who was last seen Wednesday around 1:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Wellington Street.

Gascon is due to retire from his position on the country's top court on Sept. 15.
Born in Montreal in 1960, Gascon taught business, labour and construction law at the Université du Québec and McGill University and for the Quebec bar. He was appointed to the Quebec Court of Appeal in 2012 after serving on the bench of the Quebec Superior Court from 2002.
