The Senate resumes debate on motions to suspend Senators Patrick Brazeau, Mike Duffy and Pamela Wallin, including amendments moved late Tuesday by Conservative senators that would allow the three to keep their medical benefits if they are suspended.
The upper chamber is also expected to deal with a government motion to bring closure to the debate — but a final vote on the motions to suspend Brazeau, Duffy and Wallin is now not expected before Friday at the earliest.
