The leaders of Canada's four main national parties are spending most of the day preparing for tomorrow night's debate hosted by Maclean's.

After his first day of campaigning on Tuesday, NDP Leader Tom Mulcair returns to debate preparations in Montreal, with no events planned aside from media interviews.

Conservative Leader Stephen Harper, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau and Green Party Leader Elizabeth May are all in the Toronto area preparing for the debate.

Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe, who was not invited to take part in the Maclean's debate, will instead campaign in Fatima in eastern Quebec with Parti Québécois Leader Pierre Karl Peladeau before visiting the community of Havre-Aubert.
