Canada election 2015: Where the leaders are Monday
Tom Muclair, Justin Trudeau campaigning in Ontario, Stephen Harper spending day in Quebec
The New Democrats are getting some high-profile help on the campaign trail today as Canada's former ambassador to the United Nations is joining Tom Mulcair.
Stephen Lewis, who is also a former Ontario NDP leader, will join Mulcair at a campaign event in Toronto this morning.
Lewis represented Canada at the UN in the 80s and was the UN Secretary-General's special envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa from 2001 until 2006.
Mulcair is spending the day in the Toronto-area with a rally in Mississauga this evening.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is also spending the day in Ontario with an announcement in Belleville and a rally in Peterborough.
Trudeau is expected to promise a Liberal government would restore a system of lifetime pensions for wounded veterans, abandoning the lump-sum payment model the Conservatives brought in that has been a bone of contention with many vets.
Conservative leader Stephen Harper is spending the day in Quebec, beginning with a campaign event in Drummondville while Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe is continuing to campaign in the Gaspé with events in Mont Joli and Rimouski.
