Astronaut Julie Payette, VANOC's Furlong among Order of Canada recipients
Gov. Gen. David Johnston invested 45 recipients of the Order of Canada during a ceremony at Rideau Hall Friday morning.
Among the Canadians being honoured are astronaut Julie Payette, Toronto chef Jamie Kennedy, former Conservative cabinet minister Pat Carney, CBC Radio host Shelagh Rogers and John Furlong, who headed up the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
