New health ministry numbers show some regions are worse off than others when it comes to accessing a family doctor.

The statistics come from a report by the COGEM, a joint committee of the health ministry and the Quebec federation of family physicians that decides how many doctors each region should have to meet the needs of the population.

The 2015 projections still must be approved by Health Minister Gaétan Barrette.
