Some Original brand Original Halloween Kiss Candies are under recall because they may contain pieces of metal, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency says.
The manufacturer, Original Foods' Quebec division in Quebec City, is voluntarily recalling the product from the marketplace.
The recall applies to Original Halloween Kiss candies that say "made by Bonbons Associés" on the individual wrapper, the agency says.
The candies were sold in bulk at locations across Canada.
Retail-sized packages are not affected.
If consumers are unsure have the product under recall, CFIA advises checking with their retailer.
There have been no reported injuries associated with eating the candies.
The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
