Man! Shania Twain's new album is coming out in September, with single in June
New single is called Life's About to Get Good, about her goal to be more positive
Here's something that's bound to impress you: Shania Twain says her first album in 15 years will be available in September, while a new single is coming in June.
The country superstar from Timmins, Ont., made the announcement on the singing competition series The Voice, in which she's acting as a key mentor this season.
The new single from the five-time Grammy Award-winner is called Life's About to Get Good.
Twain's return follows an affliction with dysphonia — a vocal cord disorder — that forced her to stop singing. She has had intensive voice therapy over the past few years to relearn how to sing. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, she said her voice is now deeper.

While her condition kept her from performing, she still racked up a number of accolades in the past few months, including Billboard's 2016 Icon award and CMT's Artist of a Lifetime honour.
In a statement, Twain said Life's About to Get Good was inspired by a personal mission to be more positive. She's been writing new songs that reflect in part on her painful 2008 breakup with husband and producer Robert "Mutt" Lange.
"Writing is my therapy and writing this new album helped me come to terms with a lot of things emotionally," she tweeted in March.
