The National Arts Centre says Michael Bublé and his family will attend a Governor General's Performing Arts Awards ceremony in Ottawa in June.

In March, it was announced that Bublé would not be able to host this year's Juno Awards as he was continuing to care for his three-year-old son Noah, who is fighting cancer.

He had previously also pulled out of hosting duties for the Brit Awards.

Three weeks ago, Buble's wife Luisana Lopilato held a press conference in her native Argentina and said Noah was progressing well from treatment.

The family announced Noah's cancer in November, but didn't say what type of cancer he has or when he was diagnosed.

The couple also has another son, Elias, who turned 1 earlier this year.

Lopilato said in April that Noah, her three-year-old son with Bublé, is 'well' following treatment for cancer in Los Angeles. The couple also have a toddler, Elias. (Michael Bublé/Instagram)
