Michael Bublé to wed next year

There's a wedding on the horizon for Vancouver singer Michael Bublé.

Bublé announced Friday he'll marry his girlfriend, the actress and model Luisana Lopilato, 23, next year in her native Argentina.

Bublé, 34, said he met Lopilato at a party after a 2008 concert in Buenos Aires, and she was the inspiration for his song Haven't Met You Yet. She stars in his video for the song.

He has bought a house north of Buenos Aires and is learning to speak Spanish, he said.

The big drawback to his Argentine connection is the aggressive local paparazzi, Bublé said.

"You can't imagine," he said. "I have to hire security. Like, not just a little bit of security. I have to hire, like, an army.

"When I'm in Canada, no one follows me."

The couple plan to split their time between Canada and Argentina, and Bublé is even contemplating some Spanish-language duets with his wife to be.

Lopilato has starred in films and telenovelas and was a member of the pop band Erreway, which disbanded in 2005.

Bublé plans a 12-city Canadian tour beginning Aug. 5 in Montreal.
