White Stripes drummer Meg White has married fiancé Jackson Smith in a Nashville wedding set in the backyard of her musical partner and ex-husband, Jack White.

White Stripes drummer Meg White has married fiancé Jackson Smith in a Nashville wedding set in the backyard of her musical partner and ex-husband, Jack White.

The ceremony last Friday was a double wedding that also celebrated the union of Dead Weather and the Raconteurs bassist (Little) Jack Lawrence and his girlfriend, Jo McCaughey, according to a statement on the White Stripes' website.

A small party of relatives and friends attended, the website said.

Meg White, 34, drummer for the White Stripes, became engaged earlier this year to Smith, the son of punk singer Patti Smith and the late guitarist Fred (Sonic) Smith of the rock band MC5.

She and Smith, who is also a rock guitarist, live in Detroit.

She was previously married to Jack White, but the pair divorced in 2000, remaining musical partners.

Dead Weather and the Raconteurs are also projects of singer-guitarist Jack White.
