Lego Fifty Shades of Grey trailer really stacks up

Stop motion animators use Lego to create a parody trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey that really clicks.

Here's one version of the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer you won't want to step on with your bare feet, that's because it is made entirely with Lego.

Stop motion animators Antonio and Andrea Toscano created the toy-trailer mash-up complete with a chiselled-chested Christian Grey who seduces a painted Anastasia Steele.

"I don't do romance," says the plastic Christian Grey, as his yellow, C-shaped hand brushes across Anastasia's permanently straight legs.

Even with its bizarrely blocky sex scenes, the parody really stacks up to the original.

Fifty Shades of Grey, like the E.L. James's erotic book it is based on, tracks the seduction and evolving relationship between the virginal Anastasia, an English Literature University Student, and Christian Grey, a billionaire with a need for dominance in the boardroom and the bedroom.

The fleshier human version, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, hits theatres on Feb. 13.
