When the Glee tour hits the road this summer, one of its stops will be Toronto.

The Glee cast will give a show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto June 11, the first time the tour has come to Canada.

The hit show kicked off its third season after the Super Bowl Sunday night, getting blockbuster ratings for its football-themed song and dance.

The unlikely hit centres around a group of misfits in a high school glee club who break into song at every opportunity.

Each summer, the 13 members of the show's cast have toured the U.S. performing concerts featuring some of the resurrected show tunes and rock hits that the show is known for.

Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine) are scheduled to perform.

Monteith, a Canadian-born actor who began his career in Vancouver, was in Toronto last November to host the Gemini Awards.

The Glee tour kicks off May 21 in Las Vegas and includes 15 U.S. dates.
