Darren Criss, who plays Blaine Anderson on the hit TV show Glee, will take over from Daniel Radcliffe in the hit Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Radcliffe is scheduled for his final performance in the Broadway revival on Jan. 1.

The Harry Potter star has drawn sell-out audiences to Frank Loesser's 1961 musical about an ambitious young man from the mailroom who moves up to success through a company. John Larroquette also stars in the Tony-nominated show.

Criss is scheduled to replace Radcliffe in the lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch from Jan. 3 to 22. Producers have not said whether the show will continue beyond that date.

On Glee, Criss plays the leader of all-male singing group The Warblers and he has been travelling this summer with the Glee concert tour. How to Succeed in Business marks his Broadway debut.

He has stepped into Radcliffe's shoes before — in the musical parodies A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel, which were YouTube hits. Criss co-wrote and starred in the spoofs of the Harry Potter film series.

He has also had more serious roles, including ABC's TV adaptation of John Updike's 1984 novel The Witches of Eastwick.

Radcliffe appears on the big screen next in the thriller The Woman in Black, due for release in February.
