Lauren Graham: Gilmore Girls revival called A Year in the Life
Reflecting the seasonal theme of the upcoming four-part revival, Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham has unveiled the title of the new series: Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
Graham arrived in a whirlwind for a "surprise" visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday to share the news, noting that the cast and crew are almost done filming the Netflix revival, which is shooting adjacent to the talk show's studios.
Graham's full appearance will air on Monday's episode.
In April, comedy superstar Melissa McCarthy confirmed she would reprise her role as Sookie St. James in the upcoming revival during an appearance on Ellen. Both Gilmore Girls and Ellen are in the Warner Bros. family.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will appear as four, 90-minute movies on Netflix, which has yet to confirm a premiere date. Each episode will represent a different season: winter, spring, summer and fall — invoking lyrics from the show's Carole King theme song You've Got a Friend.
Graham and Alexis Bledel are reprising their roles as the sassy, smart, fast-talking, mother-daughter duo Lorelai and Rory Gilmore from the 2000 to 2007 broadcast network series set in the fictional New England small town.
It's official. We know this because now there's a title. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/GilmoreGirls?src=hash">#GilmoreGirls</a> <a href="https://t.co/kOVW3rEhMk">pic.twitter.com/kOVW3rEhMk</a>
