Jon Snow makes an intriguing character on HBO's Games of Thrones, but a lousy dinner guest in a spoof video posted Tuesday by NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Jon Snow, defender of The Wall (as played by Kit Harrington) braces for winter in a spoof video posted Tuesday by NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Jon Snow makes for an intriguing character on HBO's hit fantasy series Games of Thrones.

But the morose defender of The Wall (as played by British actor Kit Harrington) makes for a lousy dinner guest, as viewers can see in a spoof video posted Tuesday by NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers.

"Winter is coming," broods Snow, who wears his black leather Night's Watch costume to the New York City dinner party.

"The snow will fall 100 feet deep. The ice wind will howl out of the North and the sun hides its face for years. Little children will all be born and die in the darkness," Snow continues, making for awkward small talk with Meyers's guests.

Season 5 of Game of Thrones returns to HBO on Sunday, but be warned: if you haven't caught up to with the latest events in the epic series, the above video contains some spoilers.

Late Night with Seth Meyers airs weeknights on NBC.
